Wine Cellar

Wine cellar

A wide and modern wine cellar lies under the villa, perfectly integrated with the surrounding environment.

The initial project came from a sketch drawn in 1990 by architect Enric Miralles, Ing. Tagliabue’s brother-in-law.

Since 1979 there have been many different expansions; the current structure has been realized thanks to the genius of Benedetta Tagliabue, Pierluigi Tagliabue’s daughter, who worked with her EMBT studio (Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue) with the same passion instilled in other important projects such as the Scottish Parliament and the Spanish Expo pavilion.

The wine cellar is perfectly inserted into the territory physiognomy, it stands naturally, following the ground curves and entering in unison with it.

it is the pulsing heart of the company, where tradition and innovation perfectly blend together.

Inside its wide spaces nothing is left to chance, everything has its important role, from the fermentation to the bottling, through the refining and storage room.
