The Riserva is a selection of bunches from throughout. While not tired out by long ageing in large Slavonian oak casks, aromas are definitely tertiary and savoury. Nutmeg and cinnamon-spiced cherry make way for sweet tobacco, leather and a subtle suggestion of roasted meat, finishing with a tart cranberry-like note.
